Keepsake

Save the things you love, from anywhere. It files them for you, and none of it leaves your machine.

Save

One click, any site.

No per-site integrations. Keepsake reads whatever the page already publishes — JSON-LD, Open Graph, or just the visible page — and only at the moment you ask.

Click the icon, press Alt+Shift+K, or right-click anything. Optional on-page save buttons sit next to product cards, and they are off until you turn them on.

The Keepsake library saved it. filed it. hush.

Sort

It files itself, or it admits it is unsure.

If the categoriser is at least 75% confident, the save goes straight into the right collection and tells you where it went. Below that it waits in Review rather than guessing.

Correct it once and it learns. Tick use this choice for similar items and it learns hard.

  • UnderWaits in Review with its best guess

Two halves

Shopping on one side. The rest of your life on the other.

Collections are for things you might buy. Lifestyle is for everything else, and each kind gets its own view: recipes, workouts, places, videos, articles, films and books.

Places are listed by state and city, and drawn on a map on your device from OpenStreetMap. Recipes open to a checklist. Workouts let you set a goal and tick off weeks.

Read it properly

Recipes, not links to recipes.

Ingredients, steps, servings and time are pulled out of the page's own data, or out of an Ingredients / Method caption, all on your device.

Optional lookups, each off by default, can fill in an address from OpenStreetMap, a film from Wikidata, a book from Open Library.

Kept

No account. No server. No telemetry.

Everything lives in this browser profile — IndexedDB for your saves, chrome.storage.local for settings. There is nowhere else for it to go.

Deleted saves sit in the Trash for 30 days. Export the lot as JSON whenever you like, or erase all of it in one click. The optional AI is bring-your-own-key, off by default, and shows you exactly what would leave the browser before anything does.
